Job Purpose

We are looking for an Account Director within our Account Management and Customer Success Teams to find and grow revenue within established clients across FMCG / CPG, as well as new verticals and targeted sectors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable nurturing relationships across a number of stakeholders and decision makers within; L&D/HR, Marketing, Sales/eCommerce and Centre of Excellence departments and onboard enterprise digital capability programs for the world’s largest brands. Your main task will be to develop account plans across your 10-15 clients to either maintain an Enterprise level of spend, or grow the accounts to multi-year, £1m+ partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead account teams to plan, launch and execute digital training programs to enterprise businesses (1,000 - 60,000 learners)
  • Lead growth strategy and renewals for all assigned accounts (1,000-60,000 learners), with a focus on top tier clients
  • Deliver on revenue targets for client group via renewals, cross-selling or upselling
  • Deliver accurate and up to date forecasts and financial reports for client base
  • Oversee account team to ensure learners maintain high levels of engagement with the training program
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of business, up to C-suite
  • Leverage relationships to define clients’ business operations and key business drivers, understanding how they are approaching their challenges and staying competitive
  • Be able to define and communicate clients’ digital skills gaps and training goals
  • Become an expert in the digital landscape - be able to talk to clients with authority around Circus Street lessons and the training that we provide
  • Be an excellent communicator with your clients, within the account management team, upwards to senior management and across the wider business.
 

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in account management
  • 2+ years of managerial experience Ideally experience working with/in FMCG, Pharma, Consumer Health or Retail
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to gain access and engage credibly with senior decision makers in global businesses
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and drive, with the ability to persuade and inspire
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of Powerpoint, Excel & Salesforce
  • High levels of resilience
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines with great attention to detail
  • High degree of self-motivation, as well as being a positive team player
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to travel to Europe
